CHARACTER Below are the characters found in Winter Shard. Frederic Bladeoath The main character. The son of a knight, his father was executed with the claims of black magics. Believing in his father's innocence, he went on a journey to seek for the truth. Frederone The form Frederic took after he was reanimated by Krotus. His severed right hand was replaced with one that of frigid ice, ever hungering for the warmth of the living. His signet means "Frozen Lich". Krotus The demon that reanimated Frederic when he was dying. He has control over death and coldness. Metheus The loyal servant of the Bladeoath family. When both the master and the young master were no longer there, Metheus was forced to serve a duke who claimed the mansion. He hates being treated as a kid. Rosetta Staudguard Frederic's childhood friend and Hawke's daughter. After an incident, she has a deep attachment for Frederic. She was working as a field medic when Frederic left, and had been worrying since. Hawke Staudguard The "Hawk" of the Northern. He had been fighting alongside with Frederic's father and claimed many victories together. Years of wars have aged him, and now he resides in a cottage together with his family. Marliene There are few to say about this warrior. She seems familiar, but who is the face hidden behind the mask? Zewoe One of the liches that work under Krotus. Flatteries are not uncommon for him to gain favors.
